Getting started with breadboard power supplies
15 October 2018
Breadboard power supplies are easy-to-use, companion modules which provide regulated voltage to the power rails of solderless breadboards. They are both easy to use and extremely useful for fast, efficient breadboard prototyping of micro-electronic projects.
The FTDI USB to TTL serial converter module
5 June 2018
The FTDI USB to TTL serial converter module is an UART (universal asynchronous receiver-transmitter) board used for TTL serial communication. It is a breakout board for the FTDI FT232R chip with an USB interface, can use 3.3 or 5 V DC and has Tx/Rx and other breakout points.
ESP8266 5V Wi-Fi relay switch modules
6 December 2017 | Updated 1 January 2018
As the the name implies, ESP8266 5V Wi-Fi relay switch modules are Wi-Fi enabled, relay power switches. The module includes a detachable ESP8266 micro-controller board. The main function of these boards are to be used as wireless power switches accessible from Smartphones.
Relay switch modules
26 March 2016 | Updated 27 January 2018
Relay switch modules are used as high voltage AC switches by connecting a signal and DC power supply to it. These modules are made up by a relay (the ‘heart’), screw terminal connectors, a resistor, diode, capacitor, transistor and LED – making it perfect for electronic hobbyists to use in projects.
Laser Transmitter Receiver modules for sensing movement
23 March 2016 | Updated 6 December 2017
Laser Transmitter Receiver Modules consist of a collimated Laser Transmitter module (a straight, non-diverging laser beam) and a separate non-modulating Laser Tube Sensor/Receiver module (a laser beam sensor).
