After getting my TEVO Tarantula a bit more up to date with regards to acceptable prints, I decided to test it out with a larger, more challenging print. This is how I 3D printed and prepared an updated version of the SYFY’s Hunter’s Skull.

By installing a layer cooling fan on the TEVO Tarantula 3D printer, printing material such as PLA sets faster which ultimately improves the printing quality. Many 3D printable fan duct designs have been tested and are available for the TEVO Tarantula.
TEVO Tarantula – testing & calibrating measurements of the axes & extruder

As a DIY 3D printer, the TEVO Tarantula might night additional tweaks before its printing quality is acceptable. When the axes are not calibrated correctly, the measurements of prints will be off. By testing and calibrating the axes and extruder, prints can become one step closer to being perfect.
