Publish or Re-post Articles Easily to Multiple Social Media Networks

The NextScripts Social Network Auto Poster (SNAP) plugin for WordPress is a great tool that I incidentally stumbled upon whilst looking to expand my social media exposure. SNAP is an unique plugin in that it gives you the ability to manually or even automatically post your messages, posts or announcements to the most popular social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Blogger, etc.

To me SNAP is important for two things:

  1. Setting up an “array” of social media network sites, each with their own customisable settings, to which I can manually post to, and/or
  2. after publishing a post, forget about that post after which it will be (re-)posted after a certain period of time.

The re-posting comes in really handy for automatically promoting older posts again on your social network accounts. For example, you can re-post older posts again after a certain time.

SNAP integrates directly with your WorpPress Settings panel and post editor – one more thing making it a huge time saver. After setting up your social networks, you just need to write your blog post and the plugin will do the rest. Once you published your post or announcement your post will go to all your configured social network accounts. Saying this, being an auto poster, SNAP still gives you full control over when / which posts need to be promoted and on which social media account.

The plugin comes in two versions, the free version and the (Pro) multi account version. The free version can publish messages to your Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Blogger, LiveJournal, Delicious, Diigo, Stumbleupon, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Plurk, VKontakte(VK.com), WordPress and Tumblr accounts. The Pro version does just that plus gives you the ability to create more than one account from the same social network. NextScripts also offers an extensive API set which makes it possible to link to more secure sites. So fat I’ve been using the same multi account and API licences on more than one site.

In conclusion – SNAP is such a nice, powerful little plugin and it boomed my social media exposure exponentially – literally overnight. I don’t know what I will be doing without it and am not aware of any similar plugins like it. I think it’s a good time for you to go and try SNAP out…
